Vittal Raj is a highly experienced risk assurance and consulting professional with nearly four decades of expertise across IT Governance, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Enterprise Risk Management, and Risk-Based Internal Audits. A qualified FCA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CIA, CFE, and Accredited COBIT 5 Expert, he serves as a strategic advisor to boards and senior management on cybersecurity, AI strategy, GRC, emerging technologies, and data protection. He is a member of the RBI’s Standing Committee for Cybersecurity and IT Examination and contributes to AI, cybersecurity, and privacy initiatives at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He has held key roles in global professional bodies including ISACA, IIA, and ACFE, serving as International Vice President and Director on the ISACA International Board, where he received the President’s Award and was inducted into the ISACA Hall of Fame 2025. A regular speaker at global conferences and an accomplished corporate trainer, Vittal is the Founder and Senior Partner of M/s. Kumar & Raj, Chartered Accountants, leading the Business & IS Risk Assurance Services practice.
