Umesh Goyal is a 2022-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Kerala Cadre. He currently serves as the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Telecommunication & Technology within the Kerala Police.
In his current role, he leads the state’s efforts in modernizing police communication and integrating advanced technology into law enforcement. His work focuses on digital infrastructure, technical surveillance, and enhancing the force's technological capabilities to tackle modern security challenges.
