Prasad K. Panicker is the Executive Chairman of Nayara Energy Ltd., one of India's largest private sector refiners. With over four decades in the Oil & Gas industry, he is widely regarded as a transformative leader known for driving operational excellence, safety, and sustainability at scale.
He previously served as Executive Director at BPCL and headed the Kochi Refinery. He is a recipient of the Chemtech Business Leader of the Year and the Dhanam Business Leader Award from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala. He is the Co-Chair of FICCI Committee on Hydrocarbons for the year 2024 and an active member of various industry bodies including CII, FIPI and ASSOCHAM.
